Net metering Many states have past a law that requires utilities to provide net metering. Net metering allows the consumer to automatically “store” any excess energy they have generated by driving their meter backwards. They then recover this when their meter “unwinds” upon their increased demand. |

System Size Although any size system can be installed, (subject to available space), one generally chooses a size that matches your company’s electrical demand. Any surplus that you have “stored” in your meter will be lost if not used within the year |

Fix your utility costs Stop paying the utilities for electricity. Instead spend that money on financing your own generation plant. Your utility charges would go up with time. Your finance charges can remain the same.
